The landscape of Pegeia, from Coral bay to Agios Georgios is filled with the endless color of banana plantations created during recent years and also vines, citrus trees and vegetables, all of them are irrigated through the Asprokremos dam. The banana plantations are the largest, not only in the Paphos District but in all of Cyprus. The cultivable land extends over a surface of 3,356 sq,feet and the total annual production is approximately 9,000 tons.
