The cosmopolitan beach of Laourou is one of the best in Pegeia. It has golden sand and access is easy by bus or car, bicycle and bike.

The beach is fully organized and water sports, sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent. During summer months the municipality employs a lifeguard, moreover there are places of accommodation by the sea.
